The technology behind the KEYVOX Smart Locker
The KEYVOX Smart Locker is an entirely new locker management solution born from cloud technology, developed jointly with Nomura Research Institute.
Cloud technology
The KEYVOX locker uses a cloud-native design that enables real-time key management and advanced access control. It provides cutting-edge features that streamline facility operations — such as remote operation and visible usage history — so you can use it with confidence.
Cloud layer
The cloud layer provides real-time recording of usage history and management of access rights. It centralizes key management across the whole facility, dramatically improving operational efficiency. API integration is fully possible.
Local app layer
The local app layer offers an intuitive interface that's easy for users to operate, providing authentication and management features through integration with the cloud. We welcome customization requests.
Web dashboard
A cutting-edge, cloud-native locker where all management is done from a PC browser. Even remote unlocking is handled at the push of a button.
Customization from a single unit (no surcharge)
There's no surcharge for size changes or for choosing from the 50 standard colors, because we design each order rather than picking from off-the-shelf part numbers. Only woodgrain and camouflage finishes, custom-mixed paint colors, and custom logos are optional add-ons.
Size customization
Whether you specify interior or exterior dimensions, we deliver drawings and a quote within two business days. Changing the size itself carries no surcharge.
Color customization
The 50 standard colors carry no color-selection fee. 15 woodgrain and 5 camouflage finishes, custom-mixed paint colors, and custom logos are available as optional add-ons.
Manufacturing plant
KEYVOX lockers can be customized from a single unit. At a dedicated plant, we produce made-to-order units that reflect a facility's brand colors and logo design. We deliver the optimal specification for the use and installation environment, helping you create a space full of originality. Our production setup responds flexibly to customer requests.
Color options
Choose the locker's paint and surface finish to match your brand image and interior. We lend a color sample book of actually painted steel plates free of charge.

Open API
KEYVOX publishes a locker API — and it uses the same interface as the proven KEYVOX API for smart locks. Operations such as unlocking the entrance and then the locker can be built with a single implementation, so you don't have to build locker-specific integration from scratch. From the documentation portal, you can expand app-integration ideas without limit.

Lockers are purchased and quoted individually. After installation, a monthly cloud fee applies. Pricing varies with the features you use, so please don't hesitate to contact us.
Monthly base fee (per controller)
- At least one controller is required per smart locker
- About 10 sub units can be added per controller
Monthly box fee (per box)
- Per-box electric locks are controlled by the main controller
Locker purchase (initial cost)
- Custom orders such as size and color customization are available
- Shipping within 30 km of the port and installation included
- Anchoring work is not included
How the monthly fee is calculated
Monthly fee = box fee × number of boxes + base fee × number of controllers
Example: for a sub unit with 6 compartments and one controller, the monthly fee is "box fee" × 6 + "base fee" × 1.
